About Endless Walls

Endless Walls is a community-driven site for sharing iPhone, iPod Touch, and Palm Pre wallpapers and images. With this site you can upload images that other users may view and use as their own wallpaper.

What does NSFW mean?

NSFW stands for "Not Safe For Work". Essentially it means that the particular image is something you wouldn't want someone in the work place catching you viewing.

Users who upload the image are in control of that setting, however, site moderators do reserve the right to change it as well.

Your Account

Do I need an account?

You only need an account if you wish to upload images, post comments on images, add images as favorites, and a few other things.

It's recommended that you create an account since we're constantly adding new features and most will require an account to take full advantage of.

Accounts are 100% free and only take a few seconds to create.

How do I set a profile picture?

In order to set a profile picture you'll need to first view wallpaper or image while logged in. Above the image is a link titled "Set As Profile Pic". Click this link to set that image as your profile picture.

Your Images

Do uploads require approval before others can see them?

No. Once you upload an image it's live on the site.

To maintain the highest quality though there is a flag that only moderators can set that specifies that the image is wallpaper. Because of this, your image might only be visible when viewing "All Uploads" vs "All Wallpapers".

Your Favorites

How do I add a favorite?

While logged in and when viewing the wallpaper's page (/View.aspx?p=[wallpaper_id]), above the wallpaper is a link titled "Favorite This". Clicking this link will add the wallpaper to your favorites.

How do I remove a favorite?

While logged in and when viewing the wallpaper's page (View.aspx?p=[wallpaper_id]), above the wallpaper is a link titled "Remove Favorite". Clicking this link will remove the wallpaper from your favorites.

Moderating

Can I be a moderator?

We appreciate anyone's interest in helping moderate Endless Walls.

A few of the things we look for from a potential moderator are:

1. Uploading a variety of different wallpapers
2. A history of tagging your own images uploaded -- this is vital for searching
3. Titling your own images uploaded

Copyright Issues

Someone uploaded my image, how can I remove it?

You may contact us ip@getmobiled.com and we'll remove the image for you.

With the sharing nature of the Web this type of thing will happen from time-to-time. Quite often users don't know who the copyright holder is so they don't know what restrictions are placed on the image.
